What is Profhilo?

It contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, and works to remodel the internal structure of the complexion by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.

How does Profhilo works?
The pure hyaluronic acid not only intensely hydrates new skin cells, but it stimulates your own body to create more collagen, which improves skin structure and firmness.
Profhilo has one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market (64mg / 2ml) which not only saturates the skin with moisture but also remodels the ageing sagging tissue.
When profhilo is introduced to the skin it pushes to restore the substances in the dermis that create volume and bounce, rather than just replacing them.
There are no man-made cross-links in the product, so it’s exceptionally pure with no allergic reactions. You will have brighter, smoother skin within 4-6 weeks, and results can also be seen within a few days.
What to expect from your treatment
You will be talked through the procedure and consented on the treatment ensuring you are right for Profhilo. The product is injected into five specific areas on each side of the face. This has been proven to offer the best results and most even cover for the treatment.
I offer numbing cream to ensure there is minimal discomfort.
While the product is being injected, you may experience a small amount of discomfort or stinging, but this clears quickly, and you leave pain free.
As the treatment is injected just beneath the skin to target the correct skin cells, you will see and feel small lumps on the face after the treatment. This will be the product starting to diffuse across your skin, filling it with moisture and goodness. These little lumps generally only last between 3-24 hours

The Experience
A course of 2 treatment sessions (performed 4 weeks apart) is often needed for maximum results, whereby your practitioner will apply profhilo into specific places just beneath the skin. As a substance which aims to hydrate rather than fill, it is quickly absorbed by the underlying tissues without the need for massaging. As the absorption site covers a radius of approximately 2cm, it is likely that to effectively treat the face, around 10 injections would be required.
You will see results within a week with your skin becoming more supple and smoother.
You will need 2 Profhilo treatments 4-weeks apart. After your second syringe, the real magic starts to happen, and your skin should be glowing within 1-2 weeks. You will feel more rejuvenation as your skin starts to produce elastins that make collagen.
The best part about this treatment is it encourages your skin to produce collagen creating a more youthful fresh look. Results can last for 6-9 months, and most clients come back for a repeat treatment at the 6-12-month mark to keep their skin glowing. At this stage, only one syringe may be needed to maintain the great feeling to your skin. I will assess you and advise when you should return and how much will be required. The longevity of the treatment can vary, as we all have different skin types.
After Care & Result
The hydrating effects can successfully work to retain moisture levels within the skin. The complexion’s response to profhilo may take between 3 and 5 days to develop, when a tighter, firmer and brighter appearance can start to emerge. An incredible treatment for reviving dull looking skin, profhilo can also produce a smoother appearance that fades the look of lines and wrinkles. As with other injectables it is advisable to allow profhilo to work its magic, and avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated site. You should be careful not to apply any concealing cosmetics or partake in strenuous activities for the first 24 – 48 hours
